and my son. My father often did not let us in on what seened to me his deepest thoughts. Men of his generationdidn't. I suppose. What he did give us was his sense of values, by the way he acted and the things he believed in. And he left me a I grew older to try to understand resons that were never dirctly expressed.

 

And so each father finds his own wau to his childern. That is what this book so beautifully shows. It is still a mystery to me how heats hear each other, but they do and will. To the men in our lives, to all the fathers and father figures, this book is lovingly dedicated.
